- This specimen was dredged from the North Sea off the coast of The Netherlands. Specimen
has been sealed, stablized, and cracks repaired.
- Because these specimens have been under water for thousands of years, when they are removed ,they undergo
a lot of expanding and contracting, causing some cracks. They have to be dried, stablized and then repaired and sealed.
